In March, we’re supporting a medical team to travel to Rabaul, Papua New Guinea, to deliver life-saving ultrasound equipment and training for local health practitioners. Portable ultrasound technology can significantly reduce birth-related mortality rates in remote areas, and our team of medical professionals is committed to making a lasting impact.

With your help, we can equip local practitioners with essential skills and technology, improving maternal and infant health outcomes. $26,000 is needed to provide five portable ultrasound machines with iPads.

Building a Brighter Future in Papua New Guinea

Beyond this workshop, the team aim to establish long-term remote clinics, enhancing healthcare access for thousands. The team are partnering with Believe PNG who have been working on the ground for over eight years, building strong relationships and establishing Believe Community Hubs as vital resource centres. This trip will also mark the launch of a rural antenatal clinic, enabling data collection and essential medical support for expectant mothers.
