Her Light, Her Legacy

Every woman and girl deserves to be safe, heard, and free to shape her own future. Yet too many still face barriers to education, opportunity and justice.

These barriers were built and they can be dismantled.

When a girl is educated, everything changes.
Education restores dignity, builds confidence, and creates opportunity.
Its impact reaches far beyond the classroom, extending to her family, her community, and the next generation.

This year’s global International Women’s Day theme, Give to Gain, reminds us that generosity is not subtraction; it is multiplication.
When we give, we strengthen the conditions for equality. When we invest in girls’ education, we help balance the scales and build safer futures and stronger communities.

$750 provides one girl with a full year of schooling.

Help ensure 40 girls in Uganda can access education and the life-changing support they deserve. For these girls, education means safety, opportunity, and the power to shape their own future. Without financial support, many are forced to leave school.

Through Te Kworo’s three boarding schools, over 4,000 girls have already benefited from academic education and vocational training, and requests for support continue to grow each year.

Be part of something truly life-changing. Every contribution, no matter the size, plays a vital role in transforming the lives of girls, women, and communities in Uganda.

Our promise to you? 100% of your donation will sponsor these girls!

Together, we are breaking cycles of poverty, expanding opportunity, and building brighter futures.

Her Light, Her Legacy.

Experience Impact Firsthand

Join us on the Payton Foundation Immersion Trip (July 2026). This is a once-in-a-lifetime journey to Uganda and explore the impact of the work we support. In Uganda, you’ll:

– Witness the incredible care provided at the Te-Kworo Medical Clinic.
– See first-hand the transformative work at Watoto, where over 3,000 children and babies are supported holistically.
– Visit the homes of empowered women in Watoto Neighbourhood Mothers program
– Visit Kesho Bora in Kibera

No trip to Africa is complete without a safari. We’ll take you to see Elephants, Giraffes, Antelope, Chimpanzees, Hippos and if you’re really quiet, Lions and Leopards too. The final itinerary is still being refined, but we’ll ensure it’s an unforgettable experience.

The cost is $4,500, which includes accommodation, food, in-country transport, a safari, and more. Flights, visas, snacks and souvenirs are additional. We’ll provide suggested flights to Entebbe (Kampala).
