Develop a Giving Strategy
Everyone’s giving strategy is different. We invite the opportunity to discuss your giving strategy and offer a unique way to invest a portion of you interest returns in improving the lives of the world’s most vulnerable.
We’re here to assist you in identifying key needs and connecting with charities and programs that are making a real impact.
Considering which causes to support is a great way to involve children and grand-children. You could have regular meetings to decide how to make allocations. We can help facilitate this.
Donor-advised giving allows individuals to contribute to a dedicated fund, receive an immediate tax benefit, and distribute funds to charities over time.
We can help you to:
1. Set-up a Giving Fund:
A Giving Fund is a sub-fund, within our ACNC registered Public Ancillary Fund which allows you to nominate where the funds are distributed, without the governance headaches. You decide what the fund is called and it can be promoted to your networks.
2. Establish a Corpus:
You get an immediate tax deduction for any money you put in the Giving Fund but you can take your time deciding where it should go. In the meantime, we will invest the funds, in accordance with our Investment Policy.You decide whether to give away the whole lot right away, over time, or leave some invested and just give away the income.
3. Decide where to Distribute. You can give to
- One of our Charity Partners or Payton Endorsed Charities
- Any ACNC registered charity with DGR Item 1 status.
If you would like to give to a charity not on the endorsed list, but you want to make sure they are well managed, we can do the due diligence review for you, for donations exceeding $30,000 pa.
Fees & Reporting
We provide quarterly updates on your giving, how much you have left to give and how much it’s earning.
We do not charge fees. All overheads are covered, so every dollar donated can go where it’s needed most.
We do however ask that you consider allocating some of your giving to our Health, Housing or Education portfolios.

Due Diligence Process
Charity Partners and Payton Endorsed Charities represent two distinct relationships with the Payton Foundation.
A Charity Partner has undergone in-depth due diligence and receives ongoing support and commitment from the Payton Foundation. These partnerships involve direct collaboration, with the Foundation actively engaging in projects, providing ongoing seed funding and promotion to our network of Giving Partners. We are dedicated to this partnership, attending events and offering expertise to strengthen their efforts. This relationship emphasises long-term commitments to mutual goals. Additionally, we provide Giving Partners with opportunities to visit, volunteer and connect with these charities, fostering meaningful relationships and engagement. This collaboration not only enhances the charity’s capacity to make a difference but also amplifies the effectiveness of your contributions.
Payton Endorsed Charities have undergone a due diligence process to ensure alignment with our values, including a commitment to community impact, sustainability, and integrity. Each endorsed charity demonstrates the capacity to empower individuals and deliver meaningful outcomes through their work. Support for these charities comes from our Giving Partners.
